Re: Interesting Info on Treatment for OCD Scratching
I didn't know that Prozac was safe for mice! It is routinely given to dogs and cats with great success. It doesn't surprise that mice would respond so well. Ack, I wish vets knew this stuff. My vet is getting better about this stuff though... She did great treating honeybun with antifungals and Olivia with the antibiotic injections. So, I'm sure she will be open to trying this!

Aw, that is sad...
Luckily, little Charlie continues to do well on his Prozac but it's not a magic drug...i know he can relapse anytime. Hopefully he won't, though.

Good to hear he's still doing well! It is sad about Zenki but I hope his story will continue to help others.

Re: Interesting Info on Treatment for OCD Scratching
I'm sure many of the drugs that people take were originally tested on mice before human trials!
