LOL he's so cute though. Tilda will still tail rattle sometimes. I think it's if I startle her because she usually stops once I say something to her.

I have special gloves that he can't bite through. They are tough like leather. That's how I handle him as well, I get him in my hand with the gloves, and he just sits there, occasionally trying to bite the glove with a squinty eyed look Laughing

Teehee. He's so cute. My Yoshi was a territorial brat for a while. He didn't tail rattle, but he bit me every chance he got! He even chased my hands.

But he got over it and is currently my favorite very healthy, happy old man (32 months!). I hope Scout will come around too! Laughing

Thank you! Aw, I just love your little Yoshi, he's the cutest! From the video, your Yoshi's behavior looks a lot like Rocky's, not really aggressive, just biting out of no-where, lol! Scout is a lot more aggressive. As soon as my hand goes in the cage, he speeds over to a corner, tail rattles quickly and repetitively, and if I come close, he gets squinty eyes and bites. And Scout's bites aren't just little warning nips, they are really awful. He bit me once and it drew blood, got swollen, and I had to have an ice pack on my finger for 3 hours Laughing

. Not fun. It actually hurt for days. I've been bit quite a few times by Rocky, and he's never drawn blood, he just kind of nips really hard. But since I've gotten the gloves, they have really helped prevent bites. Lilac actually tail rattles too, but she has never tried to bite. She's a goofy mouse. I hope Yoshi lives a long, happy life, he sure is adorable!

Yes, those were just playtime bites! lol They were never too bad when he was out, but he did bite a lot. They were much worse when he was in his cage. After playtime he would turn around and jump back at the door of his cage to attack my fingers while I latched it! My fingers were so sore and bruised looking from all of his bites, my husband took over caring for him for a couple weeks and when I came back, Yoshi was sweet as pie again! lol
