My sweet Yoko

My heart melted when I first saw Yoko at the pet store, but I drove home without her. Then I squeed all the way back to take her home. She was beautiful and precious and will be missed so much. I happened to be planting tulip bulbs today, so I snuck her in with a batch. I hope to see her blooming brilliantly in the spring.

Thank you both. She had a good life, and I was able to see her off. She and her tulips are buried in a little garden under an oak tree in the front yard. It's become a sort of unintentional memorial site. There's a paw print stone, an angel, butterflies, and a swinging gnome watching over! Very restful; I'm at peace and am happy that she is too.
