I love bats too, we sometimes see them flying around in the backyard. We weren't expecting them this time, though. We pulled a giant, fallen branch out of the trees and a bunch of flapping wings flew over our heads! Razz

Oh, what a heartbreaking pattern of stripey sky muck. When I was young, we still had real, natural clouds. Does anyone remember those?! They were lovely! Tall, thick and bright white, almost as if solid. Picture dollops of mashed potatoes. They were three dimensional with clearly-defined edges against a clear blue sky.

On IMDb, I often complain about these flat, thin layers of white stuff being left in period dramas instead of having period-appropriate natural clouds CGI'd in. NO ONE EVER RESPONDS, even though they discuss all of the other flaws in great detail. They don't even tell me I'm wrong or call me crazy, which I would expect to see a lot of on a site like that. It's as if I'm speaking Klingon.

Just got back from the cardiologist's office. Returned the Holter Monitor at the end of the 24-hour recording period (records your heart's function for 24 hours via 7 electrode patches and a card deck sized device; you also keep a written 24-hour diary as to what you were doing when and any corresponding heart/breathing symptoms that accompanied the activities) -- glad to get rid of it as the electrode patches itched like mad! Also had my echocardiogram today so I should have some news next week as to what, if anything, is causing sporadic pulsations in my throat and triggered an extra "little" beat on an EKG done a few weeks ago. As I explained to my primary care physician and the cardiologist, I'm not worried but simply concerned, especially in light of the fact that bad hearts run on both sides of the family (father's family died out in their 50s and mother's family before age 68). My PCP thinks this all may be related to GERD (severe acid reflux) and I tend to agree with him; to that end, I get to visit my gastroenterologist next Tuesday, probably for even more tests. Feh!

I completely pulled apart the crabitat today and moved it (that's a 75 gallon tank over half filled with moist sand and cocofiber). Which meant I also had to move the mice and the leo, and rearrange mouse/lizard/crab things. Then clean up all the mess that comes with crabitat cleaning (sand everywhere lol) and rearrange the dining room. I'm exhausted. I still need to go through two shelves of mouse and crab supplies and try to get that in some kind of order. Tomorrow. Maybe. Haha

I've been so obsessed with the TV show Paranormal State today. It seems like kind of a silly show now, but I used to watch it with my dad all the time and could never find it anywhere. lol

I just got an absolutely terrible haircut. Way too short and too blunt a cut, so I look horrible. My mom fixed it up a bit & made it more layered, but it's still way too short and I look ridiculous. Any tips? Lol
