Is anyone else fascinated with old/vintage furniture/decor? My goodness, we go to thrift stores and I'm heartbroken about all the beautiful chairs/dining sets/tables that I have to leave behind because my stinky husband thinks it's ugly or I don't have the space for it in my tiny two bedroom home. If only I had a dining room. Heart Eyes

Ugh.

I spent today looking at all the hexagon tables I could find in town. I plan to buy this one tomorrow. It's two hours away but I love it already. My grandma used to have these sorts of tables, and my siblings and I would hide in them during hide and seek! I can't wait to bring it home.

My favorite style of furniture is mid century modern.

I wouldn't be able to say what style furniture I like. We've mostly just stuck to what works and is a good price. The majority of our furniture is second hand. Usually a family member will be like "hey we got a new _____, do you want this old one?" Laughing

So most of what's in here works, but it's not exactly something I like. Which is ok with me because kids and pets can be hard on furniture. I think the only new to us furniture are the mattresses and the dining room table we bought at a closeout store around 15 years ago. The chairs are long since gone.

I just got such a good deal on bedding on Amazon! I got 3 1000cc bags of Kaytee clean and cozy for $8.33ea! It was a special add on price. But I made it work!

They actually didn't have that table anymore, but I found one that I liked nearly as much. That store was sooo neat! When we get income taxes I have to go back for EVERYTHING.

We are moving this weekend and I am so excited! Not excited for the moving but because once we are in the new apartment I can set up the mouse cage and get mice! I am not sure the breeder is going to work out till January but I think I might still go to the Petsmart near me and maybe get a couple of girls if I like any that are there. I have my mum's old bin cage plus the Mickey 2XL so quarantine won't be an issue and the Mickey is big enough for a group. We will see what happens!

I have spent so much money on toys and stuff for the cage as I had no supplies. I ordered from VioVet and Drs Foster and Smith and Amazon. I am really excited to set it up and see what happens Bouncy

. I have really really missed having animals and this past year has been the first time in my life that I have had none. It has been good for grieving and healing but it is now time.

I'm scared of the dark and have a little anxiety being out of the house. So I went outside in the dark to throw out some trash, and then got spooked and ran back to the door. My husband was innocently waiting for me behind the open door, and when I rushed in and slammed the door I was startled to see him, and my being startled startled him. Oh golly, we're a bunch of scaredy cats. Wacko

Cars driving past have always made me slightly panic and I either race back to the door or hide behind something. I bet it looks pretty crazy/funny from the neighbor's window across the street. lol

Look what I get to wake up to... "We know you're down there, feed us treats!" "It's time for fresh water!" "You didn't clean my wheel yesterday and it is gross!"
