We just spent since Wednesday afternoon without electricity! I soon got tired of having to use my phone flashlight to see anything. Lol
Luckily it came back around 3:00 today (Friday). They were earlier saying Saturday.

I'm spending the evening drawing while watching an honest review of the new Ghostbusters movie. I went out and did some pokemon night hunting for about an hour, and now I'm chilling again with Henry.

The power used to go out all the time at my parents' house. It was kinda fun, but I don't know about for three days! Sheesh. Glad it's back, Artist. Smile

My aunt has my daughter tonight, so we're baby free! We're watching the Spice Girls movie. Don't know how I talked Evan into it. lol Bonus carrot chips? Razz

Went on a much easier 2.6 mile nature trail today at Killen's Pond. Very humid today though. 91F but the "real feel" was 101F. A few pictures on my instagram. Smile

Thank you. It is a neat looking plant. I like mushrooms, they're so cute, and the first time I saw a corpse plant I thought it was some weird type of mushroom. Laughing

It reminded me of what happens to my plants when I forgot to bring them out of the basement. lol
I like mushrooms too. One year we had this really pretty pinkish-orange one by our tree. I spent forever trying to figure out what it was. And then it rained, and it turned into the grossest thing ever. Laughing

Today was hot so we didn't do much for most of the day but this evening we went to Martinak State Park. Haven't been there in a while. It's a small, quiet park. Not many people there. Only a few pics because my phone was pretty much dead while we were there. Afterwards we treated ourselves to ice cream. I got coffee flavored, of course.

Tomorrow is going to be another hot day, supposed to feel like 108F. Hot

I hurt my knee and I don't even know what I did to it. But I do know one thing for sure, I didn't have any fun doing it. I don't mind getting hurt if I was horseback riding or zipping around on 4-wheelers or out enjoying life. I saw the doctor on Thursday and after a brief exam, he says, I think you tore your cartilage. Then proceeded to tell me how great this once doctor is for knee surgery. He just skipped over the take it easy, keep icing it and take ibuprofen stge.

In his defense, he takes my boo-boos very seriously. If I say something hurts. it's usually serious. The last time I complained of low back pain, the MRI showed that I broke my sacrum. I'm just a little bummed out. It really hurts Sad

But I have a MRI scheduled in the morning and a follow up apt on Thus
