Slow and old - How do I know when it's time?
Going through a divorce and my wife, whose pets my two mice originally were, has no interest in them anymore so I've been responsible for their care. I'm not completely new when it comes to mouse care I'm just really struggling knowing if my little CheerBear has run her course. I usually get them out each night for free-run couch time and the last couple of nights I've seen her just lean into the edge of the couch and try to sleep.
She was always a slower mouse so I don't have the sudden drop-off in activity I've seen with our previous pet mice when their time was done. Her sister's still doing just fine.

The link won’t load for me (problem is on my end) but about how old is your girl? Any other symptoms?

She's coming up on 2 years, so definitely an older girl

Awww, yes she’s likely slowing down due to age. As long as she’s eating, drinking, and seemingly enjoying life still I would just continue to let her. If she seems to be suffering I would consult a vet. hugs
