I don't know what's wrong with mt mouse. I have a feeder mouse and got her about a week ago. she is usually skittish and runs away when I try and touch her and this time she was sleeping and I touched her and :censored: didn't move that much only walked a little forward and then kept her eyes closed and let me just hold her on the palm of my hand and I put her in the wheel and she hasn't moved since but she's breathing but still hasn't opened her eyes yet even though she seemed fine a little while ago and she's been eating and drinking and she doesn't have diarrhea or anything and she swayed herself side to side a few times on the wheel when I put her down

edit: she's not moving at all now and still has her eyes completely shut. she won't move even when we're petting her or rubbing her head but she's still breathing. she has water and food and she was fine yesterday night running on her wheel and everything else and she seemed fine today too

edit: i woke up this morning to check on her and she was sideways and stiff so sadly she passed. i had a good cry over this and now i'm just curious as to what happened and why she died so suddenly?

I’m so sorry for your loss. Sad There’s no way for me to guess what was wrong. As prey animals, mice hide illness very well so by the time we’re seeing symptoms they’re usually very ill. If any of your other mice (or future mice) show these symptoms the best thing for you to do is get them to a veterinarian as soon as possible. Again I’m so sorry. Sad
