Chewing own paw Empty Chewing own paw

Post by Daveironside Mon 30 Dec 2019, 1:55 pm

I've just finished cleaning out my pair of female mice and noticed one left some blood on a white plastic shelf in the reserve cage. I've now noticed she seems to be inactive and has taken to sitting facing the wall and seems to be chewing on her front paw. I've not noticed any unusual lumps or bumps and she doesn't appear to be limping but hard to confirm this as of the lack of activity. The duo were a trio up until a week ago when their sister died (was just under 2 years of age). I'm wondering whether this is an injury or psychological. Any advice would be appreciated.
