Sick mouse?
The other morning, I believe around 4 days ago, I woke up and my mouse of 7 months, Mason, was incredibly sick. He didn't come out to get his food right away like he usually does when I set it in his cage. I didn't think much of it, but when I finally looked back over to him, he had come out of his nest, but was shaking and could barely move, and when I picked him up it felt like holding a dead mouse. This was the first time this has ever happened, and I managed to nurse him back to health with food and water. I don't know what caused this, because I had fed him the night prior like I always do. There's currently smoke from wildfires drifting in my town, so I was wondering if maybe that was it? Even though we'd shut off any openings in the house. I dunno, but Mason is all good and well right now, he was back to his normal self within like the next six hours after I'd fed and watered him. I swear I've seen other posts places about similar things with shaking and barely moving mice, but no idea about what caused it or anything. Does anyone have a clue what might have happened to him? Was he just having a really bad sick day?

Re: Sick mouse?
It could've been a bad day, something he ate or chewed on, and perhaps a seizure or a stroke that he recovered from. If you've got access to a mouse-savvy vet, giving them a call on further advice won't hurt.
