USA agouti, angora, texel
Does anyone know any breeder(s) in the USA (anywhere is fine!) that are working with agouti texels, or self angora Mice? (Either now or looking to in the future).
(Preferably on the west coast but it may be possible for me to get them if they are in the way of my transport services continental rout.)
Also if anyone on the West Coast (Washington, Oregon, California) here needs help locating breeders I have a list! And a referral to a really great transport service for fancy mice that will allow you to get mice across states
- Sincerely, Mir

I know that Frosted Cookie Mousery in California produces some texels and angoras, though most of the ones I’ve seen have been pied. Also... could I learn more about that transport service

@Peach
Here is the KAB website!> https://www.kabtransports.com/
They transport (primarily) fancy Mice across states. They have ‘runs’ scheduled every now & then (bi-monthly, or monthly from what I can tell,) and you find the updates/schedules in their Facebook group here> https://www.facebook.com/groups/KABTransport/?multi_permalinks=2771521919730856¬if_id=1605746184124732¬if_t=group_activity&ref=notif
KAB usually drive along Interstate 5 (I believe) and you would meet them somewhere along that road in order to pick up your mice from them. (It’s a 1-2 hour drive for me, but to get mice all the way from Washington to CA it’s worth it 🤩)
Pacific Breeze Mousery has a good page that covers general transport information (how it usually works,) you can read here> https://www.pacificbreezemousery.com/transport-info
Different Transport services connect with different breeders so you would usually ask the breeder if they do transport and who with. But KAB specifically seems connected to a lot of breeders along the west coast.
If you have anymore questions after reading through those links I’ll do my best to answer!

That's really cool! I don't think I've even seen an agouti texel, but they sound pretty cute. Hope you find somebody!

Whoa, that KAB is super interesting. I definitely need to look into it, if only out of curiosity.
