Mice go through weird personality phases?

I don't know if anybody else's mice go through this weird "Introvert" phase but my 3 do. I got my first 2 mice (Luna & Sol) a couple days before thanksgiving 2015. Even tho they're both used to me fine and enjoy being handled they sometimes go through phases where they're both introverted and they both may hide from me a bit, and are a bit more quiet (Almost more paranoid) but it never got bad and I never worry about it. They usually go back to normal within a few days, I just leave them alone during this time. Now, a few months ago I got another mouse, a lil fatty named Marshmallow. She gets along perfect with Luna and Sol. (Tho sometimes Sol may sometime pick a bit of a argument with Marshmallow; Sol is the dominant one, but they still get along and even sleep together fine.). Even Marshmallow gets those weird introverted phases. Tho since shes already a introvert by personality her phase is a little more weird. Now I give them PLENTY of hiding/sleeping spots in their tank, which they enjoy since they sometimes they like to take naps alone. Anyways, Marshmallow is going through one of those phases, she's more jumpy, way more introverted than she already is. Even when Sol Luna go through these phases they still treat each other the same but Marshmallow becomes more jumpy with the other mice. I'm mainly just asking if you guys think I should separate Marshmallow for a couple of days? Like I said, Marshmallow very much enjoys being alone. Tho she still likes the mices company so I doubt she'd want to be alone for too long.
What do you all think?
Also do any of you have similar weird mice?

I can't see any reason why you should separate Marshmallow. The only reason to ever do something like that is if she is getting injured by the other mice. Even then, it would make more sense to remove the aggressor, as a punishment. So, no, based what you described, there is no reason to separate her.

Sure, mice go through phases, just like you or I would. Sometimes I'm grumpy and I don't want anyone to bother me. But it doesn't mean that I want to move out of my house!

How big is their tank? Sometimes if mice are given too much space, they can get flighty.

. They currently have a 2 standard 15 tank. I'm going to connect them so they can have a much bigger area for them to be free.

Never separate female mice unless there is blood being drawn, for any reason. Some people separate out ill females, but honestly, I feel like being ripped away from all your friends would only make any illness worse.

My girls will sometimes have a couple days or even a week where I barely see them. They just want to be left alone. But they always perk up within a week. It's not much to worry about unless it goes on for too long.

Not related at all but my future mice (in two weeks) will be called Luna, Eclipse and Galaxy! My friend really wanted me to call one solar haha. (Luna and solar eclipse) Smile
