Cool off for the summer

In my hamster group, it was brought to my attention that this flooring company will send you 5 FREE SAMPLES of their fancy marble tiles with FREE SHIPPING. They are mouse sized samples about 5 x 5 or so. I got mine today and they are perfect. Keep a couple in the refrigerator and then plop them in the tanks on hot days. Incidently, they are really nice pieces of marble. I almost feel bad requesting free samples for my pets

I can only bet in a million years they would never have envisioned a bunch of people ordering them for their mice. lol

The tiles are really, really nice. I got 10 of them and they are all beautiful. I'm sure they use scraps and sure, they might make a sale. The shipped them immediately and I got them the next day. I tried them out today and they got really cold. Excellent tiles, for which i am very appreciative 
I bet people who are shopping for flooring or countertops, just throw their samples away! At least we will treasure them

Thanks for letting us know. I was just out shopping and keeping my eyes out for some tiles. Now I don't have to buy anything. Can't wait to get mine.

I guess I read this wrong and thought you pick one tile and they send you 5 of different colors. I only got one sent to me. But I ordered more so now I will have 6:). They are really nice, at least the one I got is.

I would put it somewhere else other than their main sleeping area.
That way they can choose where they want to go.

I got three orders and they were all packed well and arrived intact. You can order more samples if you want, they will ship them. Like I said, I did it three times. I got a wide variety of granite and marble in lots of colors! Just for fun, I put them on my kitchen counter to get an idea of what nice countertops would look like. And wow! Their granite and marble are beautiful. My countertops are garbage. I never realized how hideous my countertops were until yesterday.

What a good company to send out free samples without shipping. Granted, I already have some tile and a cutter I can use to turn it into mouse sized pieces, but those tiles are too nice to resist!

My second shipment arrived today and they are so awesome! I think I will order some more too. One of them said polished and it is not polished and its a little dusty. I washed them all and the one not polished is still dusty. I think I will not use that one because of the dust.

Anyone else get a sample with a grid lining plastered to the back? Is that safe to ignore or do I need to try to get it off?
