Today has been a rough day.
I spent all morning watching Legend of Korra with Rosie. The whole time I knew she was dying. After a few hours, I put her back in the tank to have a rest and went to the park to clear my head. When I came back, she was gone. She wasn't even stiff yet. Now she is. My first mouse, and the last of my three original girls, is gone. Maybe she couldn't stand to live without Mabel. Maybe it was all just too much to handle. I don't know.

So sorry to hear about Rosie. She had a wonderful life with you and her sisters and it sounds like she passed peacefully.

That's awful. I'm so, so sorry. Rosie lived a good, long life with you. I would be willing to bet that she wanted to go with Mabel. I keep replaying that little video in my head, the one you posted of Egg's breathing, where Mabel kept snuggling up to her. Honestly, it's haunting me and everytime i see it in my head, my heart breaks for you and Egg.

I'm so sorry CP such a rough time for you.
Rosie was a good age though, and it's always my preference that my mice die at home, naturally, with friends. It's nice that you were there for her til the end.
