How soon to get companion mouse?

Hi- one of my two girls very recently passed away and I'm wondering when is a good time to introduce another girl so my remaining one isn't lonely/isolated? I don't know how ready I am for a new pet right away, but I won't let her be sad or alone since girls are supposed to live together. How long can I wait? Is it best to get her a new friend right away? Thanks!

Thank you so much for your response! My remaining girl got a little mopey so I picked up two new girls for her to hang out with, and though they don't like me very much, they get along with my other girl very well : ) happy ending!
