Hey guys Holy Sheep

So I'm participating in a fundraiser for a scholarship and it's the last year that I'm eligible for it, being in my junior year and all. Next year I will not be able to do this so I've been trying hard by asking every person I know. I'm sure that this can come off the wrong way but I need to do something or my siblings will go back to an awful school system once I go to college (long story!)

College is expensive and my goal is to sell 25-50 items, and although that may not seem like a lot to some people but it's quite hard (tried last year and only sold to my mother Worry ). Plus having my family buy these products will take away the point of a scholarship. This fundraiser ends on Feb 20 but I need 5-10 sales by the end of the week Bad Day

I'm selling cookie dough & popcorn in person and just popcorn & other cool things online (ships anywhere in the US). So if you have friends that like yummy things I recommend this as I've had many of their delicious snacks.

Please give me ideas and check out the website if you desire. Wish me luck everybody! Shock

Best of luck to you, fundraisers are hard but doable! When I sold cookie dough in middle school I found the best victims were my family. I called up my relatives and basically guilted them (of course it's easier if your food is delicious ). Your friends and family friends are also the best source because selling to strangers is really tough.

Hope this helps. 頑張ってください!

Friends and family, even extended family, are good options! Sorry I'm no help right now, though.

What other items are you selling? I sell customized art to animal groups on Facebook. This is how I conjure up a lot of my vet fund. Many owners like to have artwork of their pets, especially if they know it'll give back to someone in need. Will they allow you to do that, or is it strictly from that website?

Ideas to sell cookie dough & popcorn for a scholarship? Empty Re: Ideas to sell cookie dough & popcorn for a scholarship?

Here are some Tips for Getting Local Businesses to Buy Cookie Dough in Bulk Using the IRS $25 Gift Deduction.

If you’re a high school student trying to sell cookie dough in bulk to local businesses, here’s how you can explain the benefits to them in a simple and friendly way:

1. Explain the $25 IRS Gift Deduction:
Start by explaining that businesses can deduct up to $25 per customer for gifts they give throughout the year. This means that if they buy cookie dough as a gift for their customers, they can subtract the cost from their taxes—as long as the cost of the gift is $25 or less per person.

For example, if they buy a box of cookie dough for $20, they can deduct the $20 from their taxes for each customer they give it to.

2. How Businesses Can Use Cookie Dough:
A. As a Thank You for Loyal Customers:
End-of-Year Gifts: With the holidays coming up, businesses can give cookie dough as a thank-you gift to their loyal customers. It’s a simple and thoughtful way to show appreciation for their support throughout the year. And because they can write off the gift cost, it’s not just a nice gesture—it helps with taxes, too!

Holiday Gifts: Cookie dough is a fun and festive treat that businesses can give out around the holidays. Whether they hand it out in person or send it in the mail, it’s a great way to keep customers happy and engaged.

B. As an Incentive for New Business:
Attract New Customers: A business could offer a box of cookie dough as a free gift to new customers who make a purchase. This is a great way to encourage people to try out the business, and it gives them a reason to come back.

Special Promotions: Businesses could also create a promotion like “Buy $50 worth of goods, and get a box of cookie dough for free!” This encourages people to spend more, and they can still deduct the cost of the cookie dough as a gift.

3. Make the Tax Benefit Clear:
When you explain this to business owners, make sure to emphasize the $25 tax deduction. You can say something like:

"Hey, I’m selling cookie dough in bulk, and it could be a great way for you to show appreciation to your customers. The best part is, the IRS lets businesses deduct up to $25 per customer for gifts like these! So, if you buy a box of cookie dough for $20 and give it to a customer, you can subtract that cost from your taxes. It's a simple way to make your customers feel appreciated while saving money at tax time."

4. Keep It Simple & Friendly:
Be sure to keep your pitch friendly and easy to understand. Business owners are busy, so make sure to explain how buying cookie dough can help them build customer loyalty and save money on taxes. If possible, offer to drop off a sample so they can try the product themselves.

Example Pitch You Can Use:
"Hi, I’m selling cookie dough in bulk, and I thought it might be a great idea for your business. You could give it as a gift to thank your loyal customers or as an incentive to attract new ones. Plus, with the $25 IRS gift deduction, you can save money on your taxes while also making your customers feel appreciated!"

Why This Works for Businesses:
Tax Savings: By giving gifts like cookie dough to customers, businesses can write off up to $25 per customer on their taxes, saving them money.

Customer Appreciation: Giving a thoughtful gift is a great way to build strong relationships with customers, which can lead to repeat business and positive word-of-mouth.

I hope this helps!
