Is this sparking?
So, I haven't yet been able to see my mice sparking, but I think I may have just seen it? Rocky was jerking around when I got close to his cage to take him out, and I think he was sparking. I was recording, too! It's right at the beginning of this video:

Looks like sparking to me Like a tiny furry popcorn.
Btw, is that coconut a bird toy/house? I see those a lot at my work and I've wondered if they would be good for mice or hamsters.

The one in his tank that had a ladder hanging from it Is a bird toy, yes. The one I recorded him peeking out of during out of cage time was from a reptile expo, I believe it is handmade. I guess it was meant for geckos or something? Who knows. I'm replacing the rope on that one because I don't know what it's made of. But yes, many bird toys/hides are safe for mice.
