Re: Vita Prima Dwarf Hamster food?
So, nutritionally speaking, this isn't a bad mix and it's got the right amount of crude protein. I feed it to my hamsters sometimes. However, I don't think mice would enjoy it very much. It has a lot of big crunchy chunks and mice really prefer a lot of little seeds. Also, you would have to pick out the white striped sunflower seeds (they can be an allergen for mice) and if I remember, there are a lot of sunflower seeds in it.
We really recommend this one: http://www.amazon.com/Vitakraft-VitaSmart-Parakeet-Food-Diversity/dp/B00DT2VV18/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1462773965&sr=8-1&keywords=vitasmart+parakeet
I usually get mine from Amazon, but I know they also have it at PetSmart. It's a nutritious base mix, you don't have to pick anything out of it, and mice love it.

Re: Vita Prima Dwarf Hamster food?
OK, thanks. It looked like the sunflower seeds were just the little black ones, but if the mice would prefer the little parakeet seeds anyways that'll be the way to go.
