Hello everyone!

Hey there! I'm Sigil and I'm going to be a new mouse owner in a week so I figured I would get started here to have a good place to find information and get advice as I venture into taking care of my future furry babies!
Like I said I am getting mice in a week, on the 9th as my birthday present from my boyfriend. Now this isnt a 'rush into it' kind of present. We have a DIY bin cage already set up and I will have the whole thing filled with supplies before we bring the mice home. We are going to a local pet show that day and I am hoping to find some mice bred by people who care deeply about them, rather than the mice mills pet stores get there 'stock' from. And I will get 3 females, which I think is a good number for the size habitat I have.
And in case you're curious about me also, I live in west Michigan with my boyfriend. We have a cat, a dog and a fish. I love drawing, especially animals, and baking. My boyfriend is an aspiring writer and the kindest, most gentle person I've ever met. I am here to make friends as well, so if you're interested in chatting, feel free o send me a message!

I went to pastry school so I know how to make a lot but I usually stick to cookies and cakes. I might try my hand at making tiny mouse safe treats eventually though 
!

Welcome to the forum! Do share photos of your mice when you get them and do share photos of your other pets in the members lounge - many people here have many pets that they share photos of (and make me wildly jealous - I cant have certain pets because of allergies)!
