BREATHING issues?
ever since i read about respiratory infections im soooo scared of my mice ever catching one (as im sure we all are!!)
and being 3 days into owning mice, ive notice something.
out of all three mice, the least shy (the girl who doesnt get scared of me when i walk in the room, and willing walks into my hand)
shes the only one who breathes? loudly?
now, ive heard mice should basically be silent, but... this isnt really a wheeze, it honestly just sounds like loud breathing?
i dont know if this is just her sniffing or not.. its so hard to tell
but shes the most energetic of the three, eats normally, and is very curious (not to mention silly)
i dont want her sick, but is this any reason for concern?????
thanks!

Re: BREATHING issues?
It's hard for me to hear on my phone but from what I can hear it reminds me of a mouse I used to have, Bacon. She would make a similar sounding noise whenever she was excited or annoyed. It was decided that she was just a chatty mouse.
But I don't have any experience with URIs so maybe wait for another opinion to be sure.

Thats exactly almost how my mouse Lilly sounds honestly! And another thing is that shes the most active and least shy so maybe it is just her being chatty?
I really hope thats it, because thats so relieving!
