Trio in 20 gallon? Empty Trio in 20 gallon?

Post by Razumouse Mon 21 Aug 2017, 10:54 pm

Would keeping three females in a 20 gallon be alright? I heard that too much space can make them territorial, and I doubt that would happen but I want to be sure. Would it be better have four?

A 20 gallon is fine! It's usually larger tanks like 40 and 55 gallons where you start having issues - but even those aren't a problem sometimes. Just observe your mice in the 20 gallon and make sure they aren't splitting into separate groups - which shouldn't happen in a 20 gallon. Smile
