Meet Amber!

Yes, I finally named a pet right away and it didn't take me days to name her 
This is Amber! I picked her out at the pet store, and when the employee picked her up, she leaped out of the employees hands, and landed in my hands, believe it or not. It was really funny. It's like she wanted to go home with me. She must have jumped at least 2 feet, and just landed perfectly in my hands. I did get some pictures of her, but they aren't the best, I'll get some better ones later! Ever since I put her in the cage, all she's wanted to do is run on the wheel, lol.

Oh my gosh, she is sooooooooo cute!!! I love the photo of her in her food dish. A new mouse, so exciting!!!

Does anyone know what color/pattern she could be? I was thinking she was black but I'm not sure she's dark enough to be black. Maybe blue or dove? I have no idea about her markings though, maybe a kind of poor banded?
Lol, I was just trying to put some toilet paper around her cage for her to collect and take to her nest, and she was tail rattling at me the entire time

Shades of black can vary. Ideally it would be darker, but "poor" coats can definitely look this way. I would say she's black and overmarked variegated.
