poll: What bedding do you use?

I wanted to get a glimpse of what other mouse parents use for their mice.
I mix aspen and carefresh for most of my mice. I find that it absorbs better than aspen or carefresh alone.
For my more sensitive mice I use just carefresh with no aspen added.

In addition to causing allergies, aspen just seems really uncomfortable to sleep on and walk on with those delicate little feets. At the moment, I prefer kaytee clean and cozy. It's the absolute softest, low on dust, and it's great for tunneling. I also use carefresh and oxbow pure comfort bedding. Pretty much, whatever is on sale! But like I said Kaytee is my favorite, so if it's on sale I always stock up.

I use Back-To-Nature small animal litter - its a wonderful recycled-paper-based litter that Colin loves digging around in! He gets shredded tissues/other paper for nest building, although he's normally quite happy with a cosy fleece house and tends to just throw it around - its very funny to watch!

Clean and cozy birthday cake, because I like the nice colors, but I also really like shredded newspaper.

Kaytee Clean n Cozy white and newspaper. Sometimes I'll order Green Dreamzzz paper bedding. Love that stuff but it's easier for me to grab a bag of the Kaytee from petco while I'm out.

I've been using shredded newspaper, with the occassional bag of store bought to mix things up, for a few years. When I get down to one or two tanks, instead of four or five, I think it'll be fun to do store bought more regularly.

Kaytee Clean and Cozy (plain white) and shredded newspaper, sometimes one or the other but usually a combination of both.

I use Kaytee Clean and Cozy. I was using Carefresh, but am not going to go back to it because he made much more of mess with it than he does with Kaytee. And the Kaytee is [i]much[i] more affordable.
