How do you tell if a mouse is in heat?
I've heard they don't have any signs of blood, but somehow people can still tell when they're in heat. This isn't really a 'concern' for me, but I'm just sort of curious how people tell!

Depends on the mouse. Some will develop an obvious open vagina and/or a slightly swollen, pinker vulva. Some don't.
Some are more likely to hump other mice, or be humped, when they are in heat. Some are not. I had a family of does in the nineties that would engage in a hilarious humpfest every time one of them was in heat.
