Mouse safe materials?
Does anyone have an idea on how to close off the bottom of the flying saucer, Im pretty sure most people who own one know what I mean. My girls won't stop burrowing under it and causing it to sink. Does anyone know any materials I could put across the underside to make the base flat? By the way, Im procrastinating a research report on mice right now, which I may publish today for fact checking.

Maybe you could cut a piece of cardboard to fit and then glue it on to the bottom of the stand? Or just glue it to a cardboard box. I've done that when I was too lazy to build a stand. lol
Someone more brillianter than me probably has a better idea.

Re: Mouse safe materials?
Either cardboard or a popicle stick base would work

I was wondering if a plane cardboard box from an amazon delivery is okay to use? Im pretty sure its okay but I just want to be sure, I wont use any bits that have ink on it.
Just wondering if general cardboard is safe, like hasn't been treated or anything. Ive also got non-toxic glue to make little houses and stuff out of it for them.

I use amazon boxes all the time, I may be a terrible person but I use just about any box that is not wax coated and make sure I take off all the tape. I do not really bother worrying about the ink. I cannot help with the saucer as I have never built a stand for it or had my girls pee under it.
