The last time I was on this forum, I was 12/13 years old! I am 15 soon 16 now, and I hope I am a little more mature. It's been a while since I've owned mice, but I have adopted a new one. His name is rutabaga, or cheese boy, a name picked by my little siblings. :-)
Also, I would like some help on tips to make the cage smell a bit better.

Welcome back! 
There are some tips on odor here: http://www.petmousefanciers.com/t36-cleaning-odor-and-bedding. I find that usually if there’s a lot of smell in between regular weekly cleans, it’s often the wheel. Especially with younger mice, wheels may need daily washing.
