Should I be worried about this lump Image0

I just got my mice about 3 weeks ago and I'm super paranoid about everything Razz they both seem really active and healthy but the other day I noticed this little lump thing under Juno's neck. Maybe it's just a fat roll or something I haven't noticed until now? It's really not even noticeable when she's stretched out. (She's all squinty in this pic but it's from when she just woke up)

I took them both to the vet a few days after I got them and she had a clean bill of health, but I've never had mice before and I want to make sure I don't ignore something important.

Do they seem itchy? I don’t know if it’s just the bedding or the pic but her skin looks kind of flaky. Have they been treated for mites/lice? Or maybe it’s just dry skin? The lump could be from scratching. See if you can get a better look or gentle feel of it to see if it’s scabby or irritated there. If it looks infected you’ll need to speak to your vet again. Or if you think it might be a tumor a vets opinion is never a bad idea.

There’s more on mites/lice here: http://www.petmousefanciers.com/t17-itching-hair-loss-and-parasites.

Hello! I was wondering if you ever figured out what this was. My elderly female currently has the EXACT same thing. She recently had a respiratory infection, but she got some antibiotics and it cleared right up. This appeared after, so I don’t think they are related, but I thought I’d include that just in case. If you were able to figure out what this is or if you have any information on it whatsoever, I would really appreciate it. Thank you so much!

@Molly__mouse I'd suggest posting pictures of your girl in a new thread to see if anyone has any suggestions, as unfortunately the previous user hasn't been active in some time.
