Can a mouse cage be too large?
Hello! I am soon going to get 3 female mice from a breeder, and am going to put them in a 36 in x 18 in x 18 in (90 x 45 x 45 cm) or a 50 gallon exo terra terrarium. Is it too large for them?

Provided the cage is crowded, no, size shouldn’t become an issue. I have my four girls in a 600sq in bin cage atm and it works really well for them, in fact, it feels kinda small at times!
But, it’s not an issue like with gerbils where too much space can cause issues with territorialness.
