Seizures maybe?
My boy is just over 10 months old now and literally just this morning when he came out of his house i could tell he wasn’t right. He was completely fine the night before but suddenly he was shaking and wobbling and could barely walk. He even let me reach in and pick him up which he never lets me do. My vet was out of hours and so i called my local emergency vet hospital and they didn’t really give much help. Told me to give him some baytril if i can (i have it left over from a past URI) and call my normal vets first thing tomorrow morning. BUT. He is getting a lot worse and has been having what i think are seizures. He will be absolutely fine and then suddenly seize up and squeak really loud and have convulsions. Most of the time i don’t remember in exact detail because i just instantly pick him up and keep him from hurting himself on anything. I’ve cleared out his toys apart from a log a tube and an egg box, all of which he likes to sleep in, but i’m also having to spend the entire night watching him because he keeps turning himself upside down and then starts freaking out. Can anyone offer any advice of what i can do in these 7 and a half hours before I can call my vet??

Re: Seizures maybe?
He is doing much better, thank you! He had around 50 seizures total over 2 days, the vet gave him two injections of an antibiotic, anti inflammatory, electrolytes and B12 and then after a week of daily Baytril he’s now doing much better. He had to build his strength up again to be able to climb on and off of ledges but he’s definitely getting there. They believe it was an inflamed brain probably due to an ear infection which would explain the head tilt. But he seems to be in the clear now!
