If I get two mice, can they use the same food bowl?

I'm getting two female mice soon, and I don't know whether I should buy two food bowls or they can use the same one. Also, I'm planning on using a bin cage, so does anybody have any suggestions for water bottles that can be used in bin cages? Thank you!

Using one dish is completely fine provided they can both fit in it. Something around 4” in diameter would be perfect.

Any bottle with a flat back can be used in a bin (I use the Kaytee glass bottle). Then, I use heavy duty velcro to attach the bottle to the bin. Alternatively, you could use any bottle and just drill some holes in the bin to fit the wire through to hold it up.

Thank you so much! One more question I forgot to ask. Can I use one wheel, too? Or should I get two?

@tkstefan One wheel will be okay for two mice, however if you're able to give them two, you might opt for that so that they can use one each. Or, you could get one "regular" wheel (silent spinner, mesh wheel, comfort wheel etc.) and one flying saucer, as your mice might prefer one to the other.

Personally, I got one wheel per mouse when I first got my mice, then as time went on I saw who preferred using the wheel and who didn't and adjusted from there. So, out of my four mice, two were avid wheel users, so I put 2-3 wheels in the cage, all of different sizes (one 9" wheel, one 12" wheel, and one medium flying saucer).
