New Bedding Question Empty New Bedding Question

I was at the pet store yesterday to buy new bedding. I'm a bit low on money this month so I was looking for a cheaper (but safe) option. I usually buy bedding that has both paper pieces and aspen shavings. This time tho, they were out of that kind and only offered up pine shavings, aspen shavings, and paper. I ended up buying the aspen shavings, but my question is, will they be comfortable enough? I have three female mice and one of them is really big on nesting. Should I rip up toilet paper/paper towels to give them something more comfortable to sleep on?

Yea if you rip up some tissues or toilet paper they love using it to nest. I use aspen for my girls as well and they love bringing back the paper I give them to the nest.
