Asthma
My mouse Piper has been having difficulty breathing. The vet suggested giving her Albuterol every other day/as needed. She had been given some at the vet's office when I brought her in and did fine for a couple of days. I don't know anyone that has an inhaler (plus Covid?) and found a pet version [url=https://www.vetrxdirect.com/product/view/albuterol-sulfate-hfa-inhaler-for-dogs-and-cats-rx] . Has anyone ever had a mouse with asthma and had a similar or alternative treatment? I've had Piper for 1+ year and she had difficulties last winter as well, but now that she is older it seems to have gotten worse.
I also have an air purifier and humidifier (both mouse friendly, no sonic or ion)

Re: Asthma
I've only read about it but it seems standard. Some people use a nebulizer to administer the bronchodilator.

Re: Asthma
It should be safe, it looks the same as my asthma inhaler which I've used on mice before in a pinch

Re: Asthma
Thank you for the responses! The vet just wrote the prescription! Now I just need the roads to clear to pick it up
