Never saw ads before now

I use AdBlock, so I never see ads on any site. 48 hours ago, I visited the site "Vitacost" for the first time in months and bought from them for the first time in a few YEARS. I ordered several bottles of supplements and two boxes of an amazing grain-free pasta that I discovered last year. I've only bought "Tolerant" brand lentil pasta in stores, this is the first time I've gotten it online.

...So I click onto PetMouseFanciers a few minutes ago. What to my wondering eyes did appear but A PAIR OF ADS FOR "TOLERANT" LENTIL PASTA AT VITACOST. COM.

Sigh.

I get that problem sometimes. I don't know how they do it! But the vast majority of the time, Adblock will work 100%.

Sometimes Adblock doesn't self update properly and you start seeing ads again. Uninstalling and reinstalling the extension usually fixes the issue.

Additionally, some large sites have figured out how to get around adblockers, but I highly doubt this site is among them.

The ads are driving me bonkers. Sometimes I can't even login quick enough before it redirects me! I wonder how it'd work to pay for no ads for guests too since we already paid for members for a year. Or just never log out. Laughing

I just stay logged in too. I have a private computer, so there's no point in being cautious.

Yeah I have my own laptop, but even if I did let someone else use it, I've not exactly got anything to hide on here. We're only talking about pets Laughing
