Hi, I'm Matt

Hi, I'm Matt. New to mouse keeping; got two lady mice as Christmas presents for my kids this winter (Patches and Nibbles). We've had them for about a month and are enjoying them tremendously. Patches is very chill and explorative and seems to enjoy being handled. Nibbles seems to be the dominant mouse of the two and is a bit more frenetic; she will willingly climb on to our hands at this point but doesn't seem to like being handled and prefers to run around. Thanks to all in this group for ideas on diet, play space, etc. We have used many of the ideas...my kids have constructed them a mouse gym from k'nex that fits in a rubber maid, and have made several mazes and a giant open play pen out of magnatiles, which they take down and change around every 2-3 days or so. Looking forward to continuing to learn more from this group!

your mice our absolutely adorable <3 its nice to see a parent showing their kids proper animal care since its not that common from what ive seen !! have a nice day !!

Hello Matt! Adorable photos, they look like happy healthy mouses. I get heaps of mouse care inspiration from The Forbidden Mouse City group on Facebook. And lots of gorgeous photos to see on there too
