Is my mouse food good?
So recently I got a male mouse (named him Boba), and I was doing some research on mouse food nutrition. I just want to know if the food I got is ok, or if I should add some extra pellets. P.s Boba DID come from a pet store.
The food I am currently using is the Vita-garden rat and mouse food.
The ingredients are White millet, Wheat, red milo, oats, corn, sunflower, Timothy hay, sun-cured alfalfa hay, soybean hulls, soybean meal, etc;
The Protein is 12%, the fat is 4.5%, fiber is 11%

Re: Is my mouse food good?
I’m not a fan of Vita-garden for the whole diet. Most of these ingredients are filler. Personally, I use Oxbow. I use the adult formula, typically. Yes, it’s fine for mice too haha! Their mouse formula is also fine for healthy mice but pet store mice tend to react to the protein.
