Hi
Hi, my name is Nina Alexandra Zelenak and I'm currently 18 and have seven darling fancy mice! Fancy mice have been an important part of my life for the past seven years, and they have truly been the most amazing pets I could ever have wanted. I feel so grateful to each of my precious mice that I've ever had because they are all such unique, adorable, and magical little animals. For most of the time I had mice, they lived in a set of habitats from Petsmart, but for Christmas last year, my parents gave me an enormous custom mouse house which is in a tall, white wood cabinet with five shelves, glass faced doors, and lights. The shelves are full of houses and hideouts, and there are ladders and rope swings to connect them. My mice love their magical home and I love watching them explore their little world! Right now, I have seven darling fancy mice:
Ginger, 14 months, a loving, fat, giant orange mouse who is extremely cuddly and loving.
Maximillian, 14 months, an active, slim, brown and white carpenter mouse.
Lavendar, 7 months, a pretty, gray mouse with a white blaze who is very sweet and gentle.
Sally, 6 months, a tiny, adorable orange mouse who loves wheeling and playing.
Buttermilk, 6 months, a cute, plump little white feeder mouse (If I hadn't adopted her, she would have been given to a snake:() who is very active.
Sesame, 7 months, a shy, brindled mouse who likes wheeling.
Dorothy, 2 months, a beautiful, shiny orange mouse who has a big personality.
Apart from my mice, I enjoy sewing, photography, reading, writing, and embroidery. I have an instagram that I post lots of cute mouse pictures and videos that is linked below and I've also linked my other social media:)

Re: Hi
Welcome to the forum!
I was being a weirdo and watched one of your youtube videos!
I like your enclosure, but I would add some foraging toys and I would add more tunnels or hides, just so that the cage can be more cluttered so that your mice feel safer.
You don't have to do this, but if you want, you should add a strip of plexiglass in the front of the shelves/levels of your enclosures so that the bedding won't fall out, and it will let you add more bedding so that your mice can burrow.
Haha, I wish I had an enclosure like that, I had to settle for a bin cage!
Once again, welcome!

Re: Hi
Hi, did you watch my most recent video, the one where I showed the mice's new, very large white cabinet enclosure? My mice are very happy with it, and don't seem to want any more toys or hideouts because the ones that they have hardly ever get used. They seem to prefer burrowing in the larger hideouts that can fit all of them because they are very cuddly with each other. I haven't added any plexiglass because I want it to be very natural and breathable for them; there is very sturdy mesh/screen on the sides to let fresh air in. Thanks for watching my video though; I'm going to make more soon. PS if you want a habitat like the one I have, I would recommend looking at inexpensive wooden display cabinets, I think the one I have used to display china dolls. My parents found it on craigslist or facebook locally, and it was only $50. My dad replaced the glass shelves with natural wood ones and added holes with ladders and ropes. This cabinet has honestly been the best thing I've ever got and my mice love it!
