AHHH so cute!!! 
I have a lonely mouse and seem to have a mouse shortage in my area right now too. It's frustrating. I'm in touch with a breeder but looks like I won't have new mouse friends for about 8 weeks

The pinkies are no longer pink I am not sure what to make of these guys. Too broken marked, but I am chasing type not colour with this cross. So that can be over looked. Was hoping for a typey texel or even rex that I could retain. But I am seeing mostly standards. They are seven days old in this photo, a big litter of 10, born 5/6 days premature ( you didn't read that wrong:o ). Yet! They are one of the biggest healthiest litters I have had. I am too afraid to sex them, I have a sneaking suspicion that it is very very boy heavy
Anyways I took a quick photo of the three colours.
Did I mention one of them has an eye patch?! <3

I am torn between the eye patch one and that brindle on the left already. Funnily enough the brindle babies are so active and even flighty. The chocolate ones are so placid. The black ones are somewhere in the middle. A huge noticeable difference in personality. Coincidence?

We have curls! I have never been so relieved to see a hint of curly whiskers. They are starting to get a wave through their coat now too.

Apologies for the photo spam. I need a place to ramble on about the day to day happenings. Still so undecided on this litter, not loving the ears but atleast with mine the telex seem to have smaller ears. So something to work on. My favourite coloured one ( for all his colour faults ) is a boy I can't keep another buck... I can't, I can't.... 
Rough gender check came up at 4 boys and 6 girls. Much better than my cynical side was expecting. Their coats are coming through, some rex / texel's and angora types.
Look at him! No more bucks, no more bucks.
The two girls I am most taken with so far. Considering keeping all six girls just to see how they grow out.
On a side note, Lou-Lou who had originally settled right in with DD in a brand new tank, has started to attack her. Almost a week later. Starting to wonder if she may be a lone mouse at heart. Another one to add to the pet only list if that is the case. I am hoping it will settle down with the addition of a third girl

Artistwolf - Me too, the 10 day mark has to be my favourite one. Followed by the two week fluffy stage <3 Thanks, there is a bigger image of it on the first page. She is adorable ( thankfully too xD ).
