Search Bar
The search bar doesn't seem to be working for me... Like yesterday, I wanted to search "almonds" to see what the problem with them is, but it says nothing matched my search. I shrugged and thought, "I guess we've never spoken about almonds!" So today, after I mentioned almonds and Mesa mentioned them too, I tried searching them again just to see if it worked. Once again, nothing matched my search. Am I missing something, or does the search bar just not really work?

Re: Search Bar
The search bar only finds keywords in titles, so if someone named their thread "Almonds" it would come up. I do think it should find words in posts too, though, it would be much more helpful.

Re: Search Bar
Like Anonymous said, the search function only searches topic titles, not messages. You can #hashtag stuff and then search hashtags, too, but it'd only really work if everyone hashtagged stuff. Super silly!

I wondered about this too. Kind of a pain that it doesnt search the whole thread.

Ah. That's unfortunate. Makes sense though. Too bad we're not all in the habit of hashtags in things XD

Re: Search Bar
Oooh good to know! Don't think I've ever given mine almonds, fortunately. But I certainly didn't know that, so thanks!

Re: Search Bar
What's funny is when I look at safe lists on U.S. sites, they say NO to almonds and YES to walnuts. When I've looked at safe lists from UK sites, they say YES to almonds and NO to walnuts.
I personally think it's just confusing different types of walnuts and almonds. English walnuts are perfectly safe, black walnuts are not considered safe (especially raw - I'm unsure about cooked). Â And sweet almonds should be safe from most of what I've read but there are a few sources that make them sound iffy for mice, bitter almonds are a definite no no. Â So I'm not clear on the sweet almonds but I know there are sites out there that claim they're safe. But I think most of us agree, better safe than sorry.
Sorry for off topic.
