Agent Bauer...

I went to get Agent Bauer out for playtime tonight and found him curled up dead in his pumpkin hammock. I knew he was getting older, but this was really sudden. He was out playing with me for a long time last night, and hadn't shown any signs of infection or being sick, just general older mouse slowing down sort of stuff. The only thing was that I could feel him losing muscle mass around his shoulders, but not weight overall.
At any rate he had a pretty decent mousie life. even with his OCD issues.
He was my little buddy, and he'll be missed

Oh no, how terrible! When I say his name in the memorial section, I exclaimed, "What? Oh no!" out loud. I'm so sorry little Bauer has passed away. It's terrible to have a mouse leave so suddenly. At least you gave him an incredible life.

DVirginiana, I am so, so sorry for your loss. I know how much you cared for him. He lived a good life with your and he will be missed. Agent Bauer, we loved you, your life mattered to us, and we won't forget you.

I was very surprised and sad to see this posting as there didn't seem to be any indication that Agent Bauer was ailing. My heart goes out to you, DVirginiana -- it's always hard to lose one of our sweeties and even harder when it was unexpected. Your little guy will always be with you in your heart and fond memories.
