An awesome find
I just found a tank for free on the curb, it has a crack but I'll patch it up and it should be more than fine since I'm not trying to hold any water in it. I'm pretty sure its a 20g long which is super awesome for me. Just needs a place to sit and a lid.

Wow, that's pretty cool! Since you found it on the curb, maybe you should consider cleaning it out with bleach? Just to get any nasties that could be in there out. Also, with the crack, make sure that whatever you are using to patch it is non-toxic and mouse safe. Still super exciting though, be sure to post pictures of the final product!

I will absolutely be deep cleaning it! And yeah, I'm looking to figure out what would be safe to seal the crack, and it has to be sealed because it's a little sharp inside in one place. There's some non-toxic silicone for aquariums that might be okay

Nice. I have a small crack in my 10 gallon tank that I covered, inside and out, with aquarium sealant. It's held up well for a few years now, but like I said the crack is pretty small and it's up high.
