Sprout Empty Sprout

Sprout just died. I'm in shock. Boopers just died yesterday... this is too much. Sprout was diabetic but has been stable on insulin for quite some time. This came as a terrible surprise... She was fine for her morning shot. When i went to give her insulin shot last night, i found her unresponsive and cool. She never came out of her coma. She died in my hands around 4:30am so very peacefully that i didn't even notice that she slipped away. I'm heartbroken. I felt so helpless watching her slip away but I'm so grateful that she didn't have any pain at all. She just passed out, took a real long nap with me and then slipped away. Despite being diabetic and getting shots twice a day, she was a very affectionate ham and seemed happy. I'm going to miss her very much. I love you forever, Sprout.

Aww I'm so sorry about Sprout. She sure was a pretty little girl and very lucky to have you as her mommy. Good she went peacefully and with you right there with her. I hope you are ok Scaredy. (((HUGS)))
