Is the TFM website closing too?
I'm just wondering since the forum closed.... will the website be closing too? I go there almost everyday for mousey information, so I hope not.

I think it is closing, yes. Luckily, some of the awesome members here took the time to copy lots of the information over. You can find it on the home page under mouse information (the bit with the cute mouse cartoon pictures).

I'm pretty sure it is going to be shut down too. But like MouseLover said, we transferred all of the info over from both the forum and the main site. I think the only thing that didn't get moved over are the games.

Aww, that's where I got my most helpful information from when I was first starting mouse care, that and here too. Why is it closing? I think it's very helpful to mouse owners.

Generally speaking, Archive . org is hit and miss. It's great when info is there, and disappointing when it's not.
As for Fun Mouse, I think Teramis might have saved the content on the forum.

I'm really confused as to why everyone is so stuck on this—most, if not all of the stuff, is copied over on this site.

Re: Is the TFM website closing too?
I just think it's fun to look back at how it started. The early cage calculator had four mice to a 10 gallon.
It seems that having the information pages on the actual forum might confuse some. Like, someone was upset because they couldn't start a thread in the Genetics and Breeding section. lol I was working on putting all those pages in the portal like we have the cage calculator, but it's a lot of work (and it doesn't look very nice). Maybe there's some other way to make that area less confusing.
Anyway, 4am ramblings. Just woke up because my ear was hurting.

The discussion forum is where we shared our personal mouse triumphs and tragedies. Photos of our mice throughout many life cycles were recorded there.
In an mmmbop, gone.

I think how you have the info pages is better. It's all right there. Easy to find, easy to access . But then I'm already used to forums with a locked section for care guides.

Yes, that's what was really lost. All the older threads full of memories and information. The TFM portal page and stickies are here, just in different form. But the forum, gone (though I think old mods can still access it? At least for a time).

Re: Is the TFM website closing too?
I think the location of the TFM information is perfectly fine. It looks good there at the top.
I actually don't mind that much that TFM closed. We still have the community and a way to get advice, and that's what was special about TFM for me. So whether we're on TFM or PMF, it doesn't matter either way.

Re: Is the TFM website closing too?
I like the pages on the forum too and wasn't going to move them, just add a sort of index in the navigation bar. I'm still playing with how to add a description or something without making it look funny. lol
I saved a bunch of the threads important to me before the forum closed, so I'm pretty okay with moving on from it. Kinda miss being able to search though.
