Corn husks? Empty Corn husks?

We had some corn and I saved some fresh husks from it, are they safe to give to the mice? I know they like chewing on the corn husk chews, but these are usually dried husks.

I don't see why the fresh ones wouldn't be safe when the dried ones are. My mice loved the corn husk tube we got in our birthday BFF pack. I would just wash them well first.
