Ares Ear

I accidentally left flash on (i am a fool), but here's a photo of Ares half-ear. I couldn't go without sharing it.
He's definitely gotten me convinced that boy mice are perfect pets. I no longer understand why so many prefer females.

What a cutie! Where does eceryone keep finding satin?
Boys really are great, it's a shame it's not working out this time. Fingers crossed he'll be lucky enough to land a perfect home twice!

He is so cute! I only have one mouse and he is a male and he is awesome and super sweet! 
I've never had female mice, so I can't really comment on them in comparison. I wish you could work out some way to keep him.

Nice picture of the pretty boy!
Too bad you can't keep him.
I really like the male mice, too, but I think it tends to depend on your mices' personalities, anyways, regardless of gender. Since most people just have one male in a tank, the male tends to be more lonely, so you may enjoy them as a pet more, if you like really friendly, 'needy' (so to speak) animals (or, what I should've said, if you like animals who want and like attention). I generally like the animals like that (unless they have 'severe' anxiety/or are really clingy--ahem, Remy...my dog ).
And really the only the thing I don't like about the male mice is their awful odor.

Awww he's so pretty, even with only half an ear. I've only had the one boy but if half of the boy mice out there are anything like him, they're the best!

My Danny boy actually had a small tear (yep, not an actual rip like that) on his ear when I first got him, but after so many days, it ended up healing (by 'pressing' back together) and looking as normal as could be.

We went back to the store today to return Ares and the cashier decided to adopt him. She had mouse experience and would be keeping him in a tank, so I'm confident she knows what she's doing and he's gone to a good home. She seemed to really love him.
He ended up being a very lucky mouse.
