Meet Pumpkin!

Well, I've been trying to behave myself and avoid doing this, but it didn't work out very well. So, my roommate and I co-adopted a new mousy family member the other day! I've been watching him for months ever since he was accidentally sent to the Petsmart (they thought they were getting two girls 
), and after coming back from Christmas in Pennsylvania and him still being there, I caved.
He and his accidental litter were taking up too much space in the Petsmart and he's been "up for adoption" since at least November (maybe October? but I can't find any pictures of him from earlier than December so I'm not sure exactly). He's clearly very round, and orange... hence Pumpkin! I'm guessing he's a very light brindle since he's so fat.
Even though the Petsmart doesn't technically sell/adopt out animals as feeders, I was worried they would either let it slide or a snake owner would just lie, and feed that big ol' boy, which broke my heart. And then the most recent time (before I actually adopted him), they had taken his wheel out.
So he was in a tiny little glass 'cage' with just an igloo in there for him to hide in (and he loves to run, even when he was in the store he was always running on it).
So, he's in the girls' old bin for now, but Tyler (my roommate/his co-owner) said he wants me to help him build a bigger bin for him, so I think we're going to work on that tonight!
Pumpkin is still very skittish but from what I've read here, the boys come around quickly so hopefully he'll be a lot more comfortable around us soon!
Edit: This is my very first boy mouse, so any tips on caring for males are welcome/encouraged!

We had our first tub-taming session yesterday! He was still a little bit skittish, but he's definitely already coming around. He didn't mind climbing up on my feet and legs, and came up to sniff my hand a few times. There was some tail-rattling, but otherwise he was just interested in where he was, I think.
