Help? Empty Help?

Post by James18 Sun 04 Feb 2018, 8:01 pm

I'm rather new to the caring of mice but I adopted two mice together, knowing that one was older and one was very young but they were inseparable. The older female passed away and I know I should get another female to keep her happy and company... I just wasn't sure when? Or if they would get along or what? I just don't know

If you plan to keep on keeping mice, definitely get her a couple friends. Most females get lonely without other mice to keep them company. After you get them, make sure you keep them quarantined for three weeks to watch for any illnesses or pregnancies and to work on taming them. Introductions often go much smoother when mice are tamed.

Here's a couple links to read:

This one has some tips on what to look for when picking out new mice -

And info on quarantining -

When you're ready, you'll find tons of additional info here, including advice on introductions. Smile
