How much mix a day?

I'm not quite sure how much mix I should give a day, as I said above. Is a 1/4 fine or too much/little?

I put in a scoop of food whenever they’ve eaten all or most of the food I gave them before. Mice have high metabolisms and need to be able to eat several small meals a day/night. Their main staple food should never be restricted. But refilling only when it’s mostly gone should prevent selective feeding. I think my scoop is 1/5 cup, but I also add some blocks and a pinch of a herb mix too. It’s 26 grams seed mix, 6 grams block, 2 grams herb mix every time I need to refill. I’m down to one mouse now so that’s every few days.

I’m glad I could help. It won’t be long until you get a feel for how much, how often works for your mice. When you do your weekly deep cleans pay attention to how much food is stashed around. Too much left around and you’ll know to cut back a little, if there’s none then you’ll know to step it up a little. A small amount left around is just right. Smile
