Veggies and fruits
What are some healthy veggies I can feed coconut almond and chocolate? Also, what are some fruits they can eat? Is feeding them veggies three times a week good?

Re: Veggies and fruits
coconut and almonds are fine, do NOT feed your mice chocolate ever!!
some veggies you can give your mice cucumber, carrot, capsicuim (bell pepper), romane lettuce (not iceberg), carrot, asparagus, beans, beansprouts, broccoli, cabbage (in very small amounts), cauliflower, celery, green beans, kale, peas, spinach, and watercress.
some fruits you can feed are apple, banana, pear, blackberries, blueberries, cranberries, grapes, melon (rockmelon, watermelon, honeydew melon, cantaloupe), peaches, plums, raspberries, and strawberries.
fruits should be given less than vegetables because they have a lot more sugar in them, don't feed them any seeds or pits/stones from the fruit (like apple seeds etc. not including tiny seeds on a strawberry or raspberry) corn isn't recommended as mice can not digest it very well and it isn't very nutritious.
DO NOT FEED... tomato, onion, garlic, nothing citrus (orange, lemon, lime grapefruit), eggplant, rhubarb, grape seeds, raw kidney beans, and potato.
make sure you slowly introduce each vegetable, if you give too much at one time your mice may have diarrhea die to the high water content of most fruits and veggies which can be fatal.
here is a video about safe and unsafe fruits and veg... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6HsZ9-wDbZc
EDIT: you can feed some dried fruit too but i wouldn't recommend feeding dry fruit often as it is very sugary and can be fattening.

Re: Veggies and fruits
There’s a starter list of safe foods here: https://www.petmousefanciers.com/t2-safe-foods. It doesn’t cover everything and some on the avoid list are simply uncertain but all on the safe list are 100% known to be safe (except grapes- not sure why they’re still there because they’re not 100%).
The general recommendation is small amounts of fresh veg/fruits at least twice a week, though more often is perfectly fine too. Just make sure it never overtakes their main staple food (a good seed/grain mix). Start slow and watch for any reactions.
