Does anyone have any advice or tips on how to train/ encourage mice to use a water bottle instead of a bowl? Ive had a bottle as well a bowl in their tank but they havent seemed curious or really investigated it at all, even though theyve thoroughly explored everything else. I know theyve never experienced or used a bottle before but im keen to get them using it as the often tip or throw bedding into there water as well it just being generally less convenient.

Does anybody know how I could make it more interesting or teach them how to use it ? Im all out of ideas 🙃

Hi. Maybe try putting the water bowl under the water bottle?

You could take the teeniest but of peanut butter( I'm talking tiny here) and smear it on the spout of the water bottle. The scent/taste would get them to lick it, hopefully. Make sure you only put about a q-tip's amount on so it doesn't get all stuck in their mouths.

Honestly I’ve never had to fuss over it. Provide the bottle, make sure it works, they’ll get it. I promise. Wink
