Molded Pulp

Hello! I was wondering if anyone knows if molded pulp products are safe for mice? Specifically the stuff that comes with various electronics and looks like a sandcastle.

This is what I'm talking about! From what I've read , it's mostly made from recycled cardboard/paperboard/newspapers, all of which I feel comfortable giving my mousies, but I'm not sure if anything else is done to it. It just looks like so much fun. If anyone knows or has experience please let me know!
